[update] Aachen: 8th day of court

The session of 6th of March.

4 workers of the bank have took the stand.

The first witness was not present at the time of the robbery, but she was the one who closed the bank’s cash box the day before. She reported the value that was taken in euros and in foreign exchange. Her testimony was very brief.

The second to testify was man responsible for ”security” of the bank. He remembered one woman and at least two men. He remember the woman with no wig, no glasses and with green / brown eyes, speaking German with an accent (without being able to specify where from). Then he remember a man with a blond wig and in generally all were of short stature. He was not able to give many details, since he remembers almost nothing.

The next witness takes care of one of the ” cash boxes” of the bank. Once he said, he would recognize some of the assailants if he ever see them again. And that the attitude of the persons was quite hard. Also he remember that the woman was between 30 and 35 years old. In his statement he acknowledge that he can not longer remember almost any details of that day and that it seemed that the woman was about 28 years old. He could not recognize anyone in the room, and he remembered the assailants being very pleasant and almost ” friendly ”.

The last to declare was also bank cashier. She was sure there were 6 assailants. For sure one woman and one man and with the others she could not be sure if they were all men. She remember a woman in a wig and glasses, with gray skin color and dark-skin man (at the very first moment she told to police that maybe was a Mexican) in a blond wig. All men were short and she believes that one of them was between 50 and 60 years old. The others were very young, about 20 or 20 and something years old.
In the moment of the assault she heard the assailants to speak and it seemed to her like an Eastern European language. When she went home that day, she heard at a traffic light people from Romania speak and she thought they spoke just like the assailants, so she told the police that they could be from that country.

The next session will be on 9th of March at 9 am.
